bring it into an editing program, and render it as a wav or mp3 file. The video won't get recorded.

If its crunched in a WMF already it not gonna turn into an MPEG or MP3. Its trashed in compression.

Someone has a REALLY FUCKED up video card if it does not have a line out and Line in!

I have a line out and a linein, i didn't say i didn't, my card sucks and the drivers for xp aren't the best, so I don't use my line in
