Anyone else feeling lazy lately?

I guess it's the nice weather but I don't feel like doing anything these days. Anyone else feeling this?

:glugglug

Mr.Fiction 07-02-2003 04:45 PM

Extremely. I thought it was just me.

BigFrog 07-02-2003 04:45 PM

yes, im having some problems with that.

it cant be the nice weather though....i rarely leave my house.

liquidmoe 07-02-2003 04:46 PM

Yup. That and Im posting too much hehe.

But after lunch (which is at 8:00PM) Im going to spend the rest of the night working. Weee!

Ironhorse 07-02-2003 04:46 PM

I've had the opposite lately. Monday was one of the most productive days I've had in years. Tuesday was a bit more restive and I put it another long day today.

But then I'm a winter baby and summers, while nice, don't get me as excited as other people.

I think war fatigue is taking its toll also, these were some trying years for the entire world.

TDF 07-02-2003 04:46 PM

its the heat combined with raging hormones...i better use up my sex drive because i heard it declines at 40!

I never leave my house when it's cold outside. But lately I've been spending most of my time at the beach or playing tennis.

kaylacam 07-02-2003 04:46 PM

I thought my inability to focus was because I was out of my meds...

lol

digifan 07-02-2003 04:47 PM

Same here Nina,

but how can you tell if you are lazy or tired?

skrog 07-02-2003 04:48 PM

hmmm... good question, but if a good nap doesn't sure you, perhaps you're just feeling lazy.

Usually lazy is not a word in my vocabulary... but lately I can't seem to get to work. I figure it's ok to feel this way sometimes.

quiet 07-02-2003 04:50 PM

definitely feeling that way. i'm thinking about buying a new car and going on a little road trip.

HEARTBREAKER 07-02-2003 04:51 PM

sometimes i feel bored and tired but not lazy.........:evil-laug

KRL 07-02-2003 04:51 PM

Its always good to relax when you feel that way. We all work hard creatively in this business and you need to take breaks to let your mind refresh and recharge.

I love going to the ocean too Nina. Only a couple minutes away which is so nice to be that close.

XxXotic 07-02-2003 04:53 PM

i just commented to a partner of mine that i didn't feel like doing shit today.

and I havent! :thumbsup

I am definitely jealous of you... for us the ocean is about an hour drive (at least to the naked beach where we like to go)... and of course we only have a few months to enjoy it out of the year. So I guess I'm safe from blowing off work all the time. I have to enjoy it while I can.

Up until last week I feel I was far TOO lazy. I let my site slip, sales dropped and I lost a lot of traffic. I was doing other things, shitty things and making them last longer.....

All this came to me when I was checking stats and realised I had lost a lot of traffic from my site and also that productivity was waaaay down...

Since last Wednesday I have worked non stop on the site and made it better and a lot more productive and also added traffic back onto it.

I do not feel lazy anymore. I feel better, I don't want that to happen again so I'm gonna work more so that it doesn't happen!

Beastiepoo 07-02-2003 04:55 PM

The sun is shining, it is warm outside, the roses are in bloom and I'm feeling mega lazy. There is something about this time of year that just makes me wanna bbq and drink iced tea.

Ironhorse 07-02-2003 04:57 PM

Maybe lack of motivation would be better term? You don't seem lazy if you go to the beach and play tennis. In any case, we all need a break from time to time.

I'm glad you turned it around. I don't think I would ever get lazy enough to let sales slip. I just make sure I'm on top of things, do what's necessary and then maybe pull back on the extras when I need to relax.

I feel I could sleep for days to recharge the batteries but I can't sleep more than 4-5 hr. Must be the weather...

SomeCreep 07-02-2003 05:06 PM

Even though I accomplish a lot daily, I constantly feel like I'm being lazy and could do more. The lazy feeling never goes away.

TurboAngel 07-02-2003 05:32 PM
