need a swag of free fonts.. anyone have a nice collection zipped up in one handy file somewhere? I cant be arsed spending hours downloading individual zips etc

thought someone might know of a public ftp with a phat zip file or something somewhere.. i guess if it got out all the font sites would be outa business

Downing it now at 450kb/sec... are the fonts good? I hate those fonts that fuck up Adobe Photoshop when you do the manual up and down scroll... know what I mean?

This would kick ass. I have tried a few font managers, but they do not work well with 1,000s of fonts like I have.

Your Windows will not work well with 1000s of fonts too.
I liked the way Adobe Type Manager grouped fonts in sets, where you can (de-)activate all the fonts in a set with a click.
But does anyone know a good (stable and system-friendly) analog of it that runs smooth with WinXP?
