Does a tgp design really matter?
 

im looking at the big tgps that has been around.. and they dont seem to have change much in design.

now i see all these tgp designs...

does simple work? or is this fancy smacy thing here to stay?

i want to get one done, very simple, uses j scr ipt.. im not sure whether to follow the crowd or not.

doesn't really matter.

If you start a trade site, with scripts.. design DOES matter.
It's all about the prod%....

If you start on a site that is intended to grow sloooooooowly but gain bookmarkers.. then design isn't so critical, but the content (galleries). :2 cents:

I think design matters but not in the traditional fancy vs. boring sense. Its more of is it easy to navigate? The best TGPs are all known because surfers go there for porn but at the same time I think one thing they all have in common is that they are easy to navigate. Sure it could just be a frigging page with links but then again think about how much less frustrating that is than having to go through hahahahahahahahahaha menus with mouse overs.

all depends on what you are going for...

thehun has millions of bookmarkers because he has 0 blind links, quality galleries, and updates daily.

the CJ/TGPs (traffic traders) need a very productive design so they can send the most traffic out as possible to get the most back....

now the question is are you going to take the time to gain millions of bookmarkers or make a TGP to recycle tons of shitty traffic. :)
