for the ppl who make alot of money on the internet...

how the hell can you be in a bad/pissed off mood?

ever since I started making my cash, I have not been the same person, I am joyful as hell and nothing can piss me off nowadays.
I just love life!

will that soon go away? I hope not, I love me and ppl seem to enjoy me much more lately!

money CAN buy me happiness, and appreciate the beautiful things in life :thumbsup

chowda 07-01-2003 10:09 PM

the money.. think about it proportionally. u make 500bux, than an extra 10 bux wont make u that much more happy

it goes for the millions as well... if u have 100 million, whats an extra million dollars. To us, thats alot, to someone who has alot, its nothing.

money makes u happy upto a point.. then its just a hassle. im not there yet.. but i would like to be one day

LeeNoga 07-01-2003 10:21 PM

Money is a tool, not a way of life :-)

thekebie 07-01-2003 10:22 PM

Everything is stressfull. I used to run a video game website that made some good money for me, companies would send me games in the mail, my job would be to play them and review them, update on news and so on. Still was stressfull and not that enjoyable, even though I like games. I find the same stress just working a lame retail job.

I dont think so, unless you are greedy!

when I started making a full-time salary on the net, I was happy!
now all thats left is to buy my porsche and my mansion!

what more can you want then a beautiful house, a beautiful car, and making enough money a day to buy whatever the fuck you want? :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

doesnt that tool make your life happier and make you forget about the negative things of a given situation? to me it does :thumbsup

I don't make a lot of money. It's very very easy to spend it without leaving home. Just this summer I've managed to spend way over $10k right here at home, without even seeing sunlight. I can't even remember when I last interacted with a live person.

I'm not happy.
I don't have free time.
I don't have savings.

:glugglug
Too fucking bad.

what if you didnt spend that money? and started a savings account?

Ive also spent ALOT of money, not setting foot in a shopping mall.
but as long as that % is lower than the % I keep as savings, I know that what Im doing is "healthy" and "appropriate" :thumbsup

I've still to reach that level, but hey, Ive got alot of time and dedication on my hands :thumbsup

the money is fine, but there comes a time when it doesn't excite you anymore (only speaking for myself). especially if you happen to enjoy other things - that are difficult or impossible to make the same sort of money (or any money at all) with.

i love to snowboard, hike, travel, read, student life... among other things. it's very difficult for me to do any of these things at the moment because i work all day every day.

when u have the car, the house, the mansion, the trophy wife, alot of money, then what?

When u have what u want, what do you want? (sounds zen eh?)

u think 6 porsches will make u more happy than 5 porsches? its not as thrilling as the first.. but after a while.. its jsut another porsche

I'm not happy making just a few grand a month. I need to invest the money further. I rather live like a homeless guy for a few years if it leads to more money rather than struggle with a few grand a month forever. :)

The money I've spent has almost all gone back to the biz. I did buy a new pair of shoes in may though.

thats not what Im saying
Im just saying, when you have the comfort of life, NOT struggling, not having to worry about bills. whats not there to be happy about? (concidering you have your social life and family)

You'll do it...

Get real clear about what you what and how you'll get it...

picture that daily, and take actions towards it daily...and you will have it...

best book I ever read on making money, was an ollllllllld book by Napolean Hill "Think and Grow Rich"...has some nice insights and general formulas on how to get what you want...

:thumbsup :thumbsup

true money isn't everything, but it sure the fuck makes life a LOT MORE FUN with it...less arguments with your significant others, less arguments with bill collectors, less arguments with yourself about what you can and cannot afford....

I'm a non-confrontational type of guy...more money = less arguments

chowda 07-01-2003 10:32 PM

awww... emotional, psychological.. spiritual maybe.. things that money cant buy.. like in those mastercard commericals

speaking of what money gets you (unless you're quiet) is time. You don't have to work for the MAN.

So you think more about what you want to do with your life.. a lot of people never really contemplate that.. "gotta pay for the mortgage" or whatever..
