The Italian Job review

I thought the movie was brilliant!
It was action packed and NOT predictable.
The cast of actors was amazing, I just didnt like Edward Nortons facial hair :(
and the girl was hot and knew how to drive :thumbsup

anybody else has comments about the movie?

Are there any good cars in that movie? I thought it was about Mini's and shit :(

SGS 06-30-2003 11:58 AM

I remember going to the opening night of that film waaaaaaaay back. Are there no new stories worth telling anymore?

buddyjuf 06-30-2003 12:04 PM

yes there are 3 minis
but what minis they are :thumbsup

SL|M! 06-30-2003 12:07 PM

not predictable? seems I knew every twist before it happened...

FreeFastHost 06-30-2003 12:29 PM

I thought it was a pretty good movie.

SexxxyChat-T 06-30-2003 12:42 PM

It was alright... I was surprised to see a departure from Charlize Theron's typical "get naked in every movie" role... I missed her breasts.

The mini's were badass... but the movie was very predictable

It was fun though... perfect movie if you just want to enjoy it and not have to think about it.

I give it a T-meter grade of: B

The only thing I was looking forward to while watching the movie was to see those minis racing inside the house. But a fucking neighbors party ruined it! Plus, if I had all that gold...id have more then a few motorcycles protecting my armored trucks! Why didnt he just get a few military choppers?! I dont know....im still under disbelief :helpme

IntenseCash 06-30-2003 12:46 PM

cool... I am glad to hear the good reviews.. I have not seen it yet but want to.

Maybe next week :) I am leaving for the lake tomorrow!

I thought the movie was brilliant too. Have you seen The Heist? That movie is great too, and The Score. I love these types of movies. Alot of people think that they are boring, but these are like real life, this is how much planning goes into a good heist! Thats why I love these types of movies so much! The more detail, the better! :thumbsup :thumbsup

I give it two thumbs up!

Original ( early 70's - Italian production) was great.

Americans would be surprised to see how many of their big blockbuster hits are remakes of European films ( True Lies, The Vanishing, ...).

Lately, they are redoing old movies or old cartoons . They stay in safe conservative grounds aside from the Spielberk Dreamworks...
Too bad .

His moustache was crooked. It bothered me for the whole movie. He looked like a lopsided Hitler. Every time he was on the screen all I could see was his poorly groomed moustache. What the hell, did they hire girls from the local beauty academy or something?

What makes you think it would be a surprise?

Besides, all the movies they are remaking now were just reworkings of older Hitchcock and Capra films.
