Hi.

It was recommended that a post be made here.

www.liquidservers.com is a freehost. Many users sign up for the service and put up web pages for the others to view.

From time to time bad people steal copyright holders image and put them on the free web host www.liquidservers.com.

www.liquidservers.com terms and services strictly forbid this and if we are properly notified that a user is infringing copyrights we expeditiously remove the content and in most all cases remove and ban the user.

Sometimes people think that the service should automatically know what is licensed and what is not. Microsoft is working on a solution for that I hear but it's not quite ready yet. (small joke). United States Congress made a law called the DMCA which basically says, among other things, if a copyright holder finds a copyright violation, they can notify the ISP and the ISP must take it down.

www.liquidservers.com's copyright policy can be found at http://www.liquidservers.com/copyright.html.

Some people have mentioned that some images from some users on some sites are being used without a proper license.

If this is so, please ask the copyright holders to send a proper DMCA notice to the designated agent for copyright infringement notification.

Best regards.

Very quick response time - and it's been noted that action has been taken as well.

We find the same problems with our content - we find out content being used to push other people's programs all the time. Normally we just contact the sponsor program in question, and they shut them down.

Here's the funny part.... Let's use Taylor Little as an example here. If your using stolen pictures of Taylor to push a sit, wouldn't you be better off sending that traffic to Taylor's site? I'd think your ratios would be much better that way.
