Does preloading images help?
Does using J A V A S C R I P T to preload images on a tour page help the speed of the tour?
I have a tour that converts really good, only problem is its a pretty heavy page and I'm thinking a lot of dial up users might be backing out before the pages load. Would using the pre-load help keep these surfers on the page longer? And does anyone have the code for this that I could cut and paste? |
with an email like [email protected] I find it amusing that you are asking for a simple J A V A S C R I P T ... :winkwink:

Java is used in cgi applications and appelets to display objects like movie players. I'd like to see someone put Java Script in a fucking cgi-bin. |

Hey Fire, are you coming to the BBQ on the 5th? I need to know how much food to buy. |

I just get irritated by psuedo-genious types that actually know nothing about what's going on making post intended to belittle someone who asks a question. I thought that was happening. Sorry. |
blackmonsters .. I accept your apology for calling me a pseudo genius and a dumb fuck.. :thefinger
Lenny, do a search on google, found a bunch of results for the terms "hahahahahahahahahaha preload images" but I'm not gonna try and post the code here cause it will probably fuck it up. As far as it being worthwhile to add it to your tours I have no idea. With the bbq, I'll probably come, and I guess Bill will also, the wife will be working. I'll contact Mike this week and see if he is in town and invite him. I'l let you know definitely by wed, that will give you ample time for food amounts. |
