What SAS troops? - Dublin is a real cool city in the Republic of Ireland. Great 'craic'.

Check out the Guinness brewery if you havn't done it already, then check out some of the entertainment burbs in the evening - Temple Bar is one of the good ones :)

He never said whether it should or shouldn't be, he just stated what it currently is.

Read.

Maca 06-29-2003 07:42 PM

What he said - who doesn't know shit...?

TheJimmy 06-29-2003 07:50 PM

do what every good single tourist sh ould do

get drunk & try to bang some local chicas :)

or go sightseeing.....after you get drunk and bang some local chicks....

Maca 06-29-2003 08:00 PM

You could try looking out for off-duty nurses out on the piss together.

There is a saying that the difference between a helicopter and an Irish nurse is simply that not everyone has had a ride on a helicopter....

Maca I was born in Armagh and moved to the USA less then 10 years ago you waste of a sperm. I am probably older then you by double.

Dont ever think your in any position to be the "all knowing" of everything. There are alot of SAS troops in Dublin.

I hate every summer when the kiddie assholes come to these boards proffessing to be the shit, when all they are is a fag kid on mommy and daddies aol account who will be gone in less then 2 months.

Maca 06-29-2003 08:18 PM

VideoVoyeur - I really don't know what the problem is, I merely pointed out that Dublin is in the South, where the only SAS troops would be those who are themselves tourists having a break from their duties elsewhere. Ireland does not itself have an SAS.

As for whether NI should be part of the UK or not thats a whole other question, yes a lot of us wish it wan't but I can't change history!

btw I'm no newbie or kiddie, been at this for some years.

quiet 06-29-2003 08:20 PM

chip on shoulder?

Brown Bear 06-29-2003 08:24 PM

I've lived in Dublin. I've never seen any SAS there.

beemk 07-06-2003 10:06 PM

dublin was a lot of fun. i ended up going to temple bar and going to some club and getting wasted. then after that the bar closed early and i went to some wine bar that the triads there hand out at. when we got there the bouncer was like "dont mess with anyone" but we were already there so we went in anyways. then after a few bottles of moet between me and a few friends i didnt remember much.

they had the special olympics going on next to the four seasons i was staying at but i woke up too late to go to it. and some pop band was there so there was about 500 12 year olds lined up in front of the hotel screaming. besides that it was a lot of fun.

GTS Mark 07-06-2003 10:13 PM

Temple Bar is awesome!

A good touristy thing to do would be to Oconnell St and also check out Steven's Green. I have spent many the summer vacation in Dublin over my life. :thumbsup

I'm calling you on all of this. You are a liar.

Maca 07-07-2003 06:03 AM

You calling me a liar? lol

Maca 07-07-2003 06:10 AM

Forgot to mention - if VV is 'older than me by double' he is well into his eighties!

SexySarah 07-07-2003 06:30 AM

VideoVoyeur is either a lier, or one of those *really* dumb Irish we all here about.

Which one is it VV?

Or are you still mad because the SAS rejected you?

You're probably right though. You can't walk 10 metres in Dublin without tripping over SAS. They're strewn all over the place. It's very messy. Someone should pick them up and put them by the side of the road.
