with my new mp3 player, i have ever single cd i've ever bought over the past 14 years, all loaded onto my new ipod. and it's only half full.

wow.

i drop it into it's dock, and it will run on my stereo automatically. i plug the 'line in' to my car stereo, and it runs there flawlessly.

i head over to my friends home, and can easily hook up my ipod to play whatever i'd like on their stereo. i think this is as big a revolution, as the www (of course i put music fairly high on my priority list)...

I'm resting my foot on this roller thing Mrs. ReDshoe got for me. It's green and kind see thru, also it's sahped like a foot.

have you seen/heard about those people who hook up an entire computer in their car in order to play mp3s?

Bastard. I don't even have ANY portable player, no cd, no casette player no nothing. I want one too, I'm too cheap to buy one.

What did you do with that hundred bucks I gave you? Did you spend it all in one place? Didn't I tell you NOT to do that?

I dont want to imagine a world without mp3.

not only would i be broke from buying so many cds, but there'd also be so much music that i would have never heard.

i've purchased almost everything i listen to. i take in rogue mp3's, but if i like them, i go buy the album.

smaller 'groups/bands', will simply die without financial support.

anyway, it's crazy. 300+ cds disappear into an mp3 player lighter than 2 cds. space for over 300 other cds waiting.

it's been a couple of years since i've really been awed by technology. god damn.

there is an adapter that lets you run it off an outlet. you can also run it off your computer.

the battery lasts over 8 hours.

i should have clarified...does it run off batteries? i would presume it does being that it's a "portable" player, yes? what type of batteries

like i already said, the battery lasts over 8 hours. it's a built-in rechargeable lithium ion battery (630 mAh)
