URLs on dollar bills?
Caught my first dollar bill where someone stamped their website URL on it.
Is this spam? Defacing government currency? Whatta you call it other than 'desperate'? http://www.gregboone.com/siteicon.gif |
Nope, wheresgeorge.com sells stamps to stamp their URL on bills. Its only illegal if you try to make money unusable on purpose. Stamping a URL or writing on it doesnt make it unusable.

For a good time call ###-###-#### how desperate is that? |
That's a neat approach, but it has to be very memorable, otherwise, who's going to memorize a domain name and actually type it in at home.

Anyone seriously considering this for a porn site should think again.
Is it really worth doing one more thing to help raise public backlash against the porn industry for a few hits ? What if a 10yo kid types in the url ? If you are this desperate for hits then why not consider a real job ? |
