It has no value to a US webmaster who is concerned about the new law that would probably not consider it a porn domain.

Yeah, sure. That's the official stance. The reality is you would still have plenty of US and other webmasters throwing money at you for that domain.

The main part of the Protect Act that many people over look.

"use a misleading domain with intent to deceive a person into viewing material constituting obscenity" or "use a misleading domain name with intent to deceive a minor into veiwing material that is harmful to minors"

The use of the domain amateur.com is not misleading.. If you want to see a prime example of a website with a non-sexual domain name look at www.whitehouse.com but it clearly states that it is an Adult site and it is not misleading and has nothing to do with the White House.

A domain like " spongebobsquare-pants-does-dallas.com" would be misleading :1orglaugh

It's all about common sense ..Should Lensman get rid of Adult.com(because some of the Adults on his site are nude)
or will the people at Cash.com get in trouble because some kid types in cash.com ..Looking for a picture of dollar bill??

It's just common sense..Don't use words or phrases that would mislead a minor into viewing adult content.

I would assume it's worth a lot... www.amateurs.com is how Webpower got started/where they got all their money to do iFriends prior to '98 when they started it... now they got a 5 story glass building on PGA golf course and make like at least $10mil/month or something crazy.. and it all started with amateurs.com :)
