WTF happened to spielberg?
 

First it was AI... forgivable I suppose, but still complete shit. And now I just finished watching Catch Me if You Can and I almost fell asleep.

WTF happened to him? I think I'd rather see another Rob Schneider movie before I'd see another Spielberg snooze fest.

I liked AI. Not a great movie, but entertaining.
And as always the graphics are top notch.
However it's not something I would watch over and over.

I have Catch me if you can sitting on the coffee table right now, we just rented it last night and have not yet watched it so I'll have to wait to post my opinion on that.


But when you have movies like Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan and the series Band of Brothers going on in the last 5 years I'm willing to forgive a mistake here or there :)

AI was weird and too long but some of it was interesting.

Catch Me If You Can was a good movie. Unless you are only into explosions and gunplay I can't see what bored you about that movie.

Maybe something like Barney in Space would be more your speed.

i liked catch me if you can.. lightweight, but i was interested in frank's story long before the movie and spielberg did it justice.

I thought Catch Me If You Can was a pretty decent movie... I liked it.

Creativity only goes so far. That's why it pays to drop the ego and hire young kids with new ideas for your movies.

i liked catch me if you can. Didnt like AI.

If you have half a brain... You would see that catch me if u can is an excellent movie.. with two great actors.. If not.. then you won't get it.

I just bought the dvd and watched it for the very first time last weekend, i thought it was pretty good... :thumbsup :thumbsup (2 thumbs up)

Well I watched it and it was quite enjoyable.

If you'd rather see a Rob Schneider movie before those, there's really nothing that can be done for you.

I thought both of those movies were good. "Catch Me" was more mainstream, and cleaned up at the box office.

In addition to "Band of Brothers" (mentioned above), he also put out "Minority Report" in 2002. Another strong movie.

Minority Report was a pile of shit.

So was Saving Private Ryan for that matter.
