Fuck Cable, My DSL works great !!

I've had cable forever, but recently it has been fucking up big time. So I called Zoomtown and got DSL. It's great I think and alot faster than my cable was :) I got the upgraded "hyperspeed" connection.

What does everyone prefer, cable or DSL?

Well when I first got my cable, it was cool. For the past 8 months or so, it would go out EVERY DAMN DAY! I had to unplug the power from the modem, let it sit for 60 secs then plug it back in. Sometimes this happend 3 and 4 times a day. Did it on my laptop also. I tried to get them to replace the modem, but they wouldn't. They kept telling me something was wrong with my computers. Something wrong with both my computers? Doubt it. Even after I formatted it still was disconnecting every damn day.

cable is fast as hell in most areas, but it has issues. if you're running servers out of your house, use dsl, way more reliable. if you're not, get cable and suffer from time to time.

No shit about the cable issues in Vegas.

I was on Cable, and damn that thing would drop it's connection for anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes sometimes 10x's an hour.

It got to a point on most days I was ready to kick my fucking monitor in.

Now on DSL and not as many issues.

Had DSL back in Texas and liked it much more than cable there as well.

I know one thing...If I had DSL, I would be able to stretch my long phone cord with my laptop out on the porch...With cable, I'm stuck here in the living room
