"drop charge" - per call dialer for my site
I need a dialer that can drop charge for around $30, $60 and $90 USD for international users. The users are then given access to my paysite.
Who has this or something simular? I think something like this is a good billing option for international users. But a normal per minute charge would probably be unfair for a broadband video site. What are good options for international billing? |
Hate to tell you bro.. Dialers are dying fast! TIBS sent an email claiming 2 of there dialers are fileing Chap 11..Topdialer.com as well....
There is way to much fraud..or 12-17 year old kids downloading it and they are getting massive charge backs. Plastic pays the Bills! |
I know. It is too bad that dialers started out the way they did. If they were originally used as an alternate billing method for sites by drop charging it would be alot better right now. Telling a user up front that they will be billed for $35 thru their phone to get access to a site is much better than telling them they will be charged $5 per minute in small print. Free sites abused this. It would be a great alternative way to bill. Just drop charge them up front, get them off the expensive line, and send them a password that expires in 1 month. Also, giving them options of 2, 3, or more months.
This is the way dialers should be. Everything is fucked up now with they way they have been used. Hopefully I can find a good company that can offer something like this. |
Hi,
We have a pay-per-call dialer for USA which gives the user 30 days access for $39.95. All our other numbers are pay-per-minute with good rates and hold-times. Further our dialer is DSL/LAN capable which means that a surfer on DSL/LAN can use our voice system to get access to our members area. We also offer custom dialer for your own paysite. If you want to know more just contact me. Marco [email protected] ICQ 29151164 |
when someone was pointing that I had viagra in my bookmarks in my last thread. I looked that up and clicked on one of the xxx sites. This was how they billed:
write OK with your mobile phone..send it to number xxxx and then wait for your password. price was $2/day. :thumbsup |
I don't want it for the US. I am only using CC and checks for US billing. I need an alternative for international users.

I don't know much about the text message billing. Is anyone using it? Is it worth it?
