I need to get away for a few days, can anyone recommend any good places to go and chill out for a few days that dont require a passport???

sure... come to Maui and let's have a brew and some surf. If you get here by morning, we got some powerboats lined up for some fun. :)

hawaii does sound like a good place to go. i got some family in honolulu, what else is there to do then chill on the beach?

ummm.... anything you want man. Diving, snorkeling, boating, parasailing, jetskiing, horseback, hiking, surfing, driving, hang gliding,.... if it can be done, you can do it here. With the exception of snow skiing.

well once i get a passport, Iceland, Sweden, New Zealand, most of central europe are on my list. i also want to see parts of south america. but asia and africe dont interest me in the least.

oceania is cool though.

Whats a good hotel? :) And which airport do i fly to?

I thought about Lake tahoe or whistler as destinations as well. for the snow skiing. Is there still snow up at Tahoe? Or are Timberline and BlackComb the only ones left?

Erg, traveling alone must suck though, Iv never done it that way before.

Whistler has glacier ski'ing I know. If you are into mountain biking that is also really big right now up there.

Beachs would be great, i havent been to a nice beach on the ocean in like 10 years at least. Always went to the cold ass lakes in Washington where i grew up.

just about any hotel here is good.... mostly resorts anyway, so they're kinda all nice. Some are really nice. I recommend anything in Ka'anapali. Marriot, Westin, Hyatt, Embassy...

Kahului Intl. Airport is the only way in or outta here. :)
