Terminator may run for Governor

Arnold Schwarzenegger (news) refuses to terminate rumors of a run for governor while promoting his latest movie, joking that: "You haven't seen special effects like this since the California state budget."

Schwarzenegger's advisers have said he will decide whether to run after the July 2 release of his movie and only if it becomes clear that an effort under way to recall Gov. Gray Davis (news - web sites) will qualify for the ballot.


If voters decide to oust Davis, they would also have to choose a successor.

It would be funny if he won, would californian's actually vote for him?

i wonder how he would be in office? i guess if his dedication to the govt is anything like his dedication to body building was, then he should be pretty good :)

maybe stern should run for president again!

He will be wasting his money.Arnie probably would lose due to the fact he wasn't born in America,and really not the political type.Of course he is a pro at promotion and is milking the extra publicity for his movies.

if jessie ventura can win.....anything is possible.
