Im just wondering, how much content does an average paysite have on the site?

(# of pics, # of sets, #of videos ,# of video minutes)

any of this info would be greatly appreciated!

There is no simple average.

A site like Kara's probably has many thousands, if not millions or even billions.

A site like Tranny Surprise probably has only a few.

It depends what you are doing.

Good question. How man sets did Bang Bus, CFF, Captain Stabbin or Tranny Surprise or any of those have when they launched? I didn't look inside.

We usually launch a new site with at least 8000 pics. Our biggest site has around 140,000.

But..thats the gay side...I suspect the straight side would require higher figures.

Our customers usually start their sites with 8-10 exclusive videos (plus leased content and non-exclusive content). Updates are usually 1/week. This is for 30-45 minute videos, multiple for shorter videos.

its possible to have 400 SETS with 3 pics each or 300 pics each ...... or even have 1 set with 5000 pics each (one hell of a shoot, eh?) ...

the point is, it depends on what your selling and how you market it that will determine what your needs will be.

MY own example on my softcore site:

I have about 30 girls, each girl has an avg of 5 sets, each set has an average of 100 pics. And and avg of one video per girl.

Then I have 'guest models' of which I have about 20 girls, each with an avg of 2 sets of about 80+ pics.

I also give access to all my other sites and I have a few feeds.

20-30 sets to begin. when the members come you update 2 a 3 sets per week :thumbsup

and begin with 3 to 5. mimimal 30 min videos

and add 1 movies per week :thumbsup

It really depends on who you are catering to. Simple, generic T&A sites are a dime a dozen, and so customers expect quantity.
An unsaturated niche can get away with much less, as long as the content is more focused, as niche customers couldnt care less about the filler that is not up their alley.
Micro niche sites often start with 60+ galleries and a few dozen clips. Key is frequent (and regular) updates.
Solo amateur sites usually start out with 1000 pics+ and update 2-4/month.

well, it depends on the number of models you have. You can have as many as possible, the more the better sign up.

I only know of a couple sites that have all of this (or come close) except for all those vids. They'd have to be very short clips.

Everyone always talks about how much content is needed to open a paysite. I think you can open with anything you want. Just make sure the price reflects what they are getting, and they know what they are getting. To charge $29.95 for a new site with minimal content is a scam.

We have about 60,000 pics in about 600 filesets, for an average of about 100 pics / fileset. We add about 1,000 pics a month; we tried adding 2,500 pics for a few months and it made no difference in sales or retention, just expense. Then again, we're a niche site where most members will look at *every single* new pic, so it would be tough for 'em to get through more than 1,000 / month.
