I've been checking regularly for over a week now, they haven't been up once when I checked.. :(

I think they've blocked all ip's. You have to ask them to 'release' your ip.. or something.

You have to wonder about the future of a service that effectively cannot get new business. Wonder why the DOS attacks happened?

I have no idea, but I could imagine some pissed off 3l33t hacker/warez/cp/beast dude that got pissed off because they didn't process for him.. or a similar scenario. Don't take my word on it though, just speculating.

Their website is still up, just another url because they still are under attack...all their services still work and their support is also still good.

Im just REALLY dissapointed they stopped accepting pp transfers.

That has little to do with it. It's very much a his problem and not my problem. This is business and money is involved and where money is involved if you want to start being sentimental then you deserve to get screwed. Yambo has some features that at this moment would prove useful and as I fully intend to limit my exposure as little as possible I'm happy to try them. If all the people who want to slam them 'just because' prove correct then I'll have lost very little.

That said I have not (and unless the doomsayers prove to be correct) will not slag off Yambo for little or no reason. So far they have managed to provide a service that nobody else seems to and have done so honestly as far as I'm aware. They have a major handicap in being Russian and trying to do this type of business - not an easy task. Until/unless they prove otherwise they have my respect and I'm probably even going to try using them if it's actually possible.

However as above, none of the gets away from the fact that if the service is unusable, for whatever reason, then the business isn't and cannot be run properly. This is especially true when you contact them with an IP as requested and still cannot get access.

Seems the back door is working for me so off I pop off and try it. I also genuinely wish Max the best in resolving the DOS issue. Presuming there's no reason for it other than some scumbags are pissed off for very little then it's a fucked up thing to happen to anyone.

I got my Yambo mastercard a few days back, and it works perfectly even though I can't currently access the site. I admit, it fucking stinks.. but they're not 'scambing' people as of yet. So shut your fucking mouth, it's getting fucking annoying. Post proof or shut the fuck up. Please.
