I'd give anything to own DoNotCall.com today. Bet ya 2/3rds of people will do the .com first by mistake.

don't you think that will be like trying to opt out of spam?

I'm skeptical of adding my number to a list that they give directly to even more telemarketers.

And I surely am not going to chase down the telemarketers that do call me after I am on that list, it will just piss me off even more and probably drive me nuts.

        thank goodness for caller id.

          Perhaps they'll start a donotemail.org next?

IS anyone getting the confirmation email they are supposed to send you so you can verify your number? I haven't got shit from them.

That's the beauty of this. You don't have to chase anyone, the burden is on the spammers to make sure their lists are updated and the fines are very, very steep. Spammers will think twice about calling gazillion times a day only for me to ignore them. Idiots.

hmm... do you know if there is some nice hotline or something to report the calls that do get through?

there are so many fly-by-night telemarketing companies just like email spammers, so I wonder how hard it would be to bust one of them if they do abuse this list.

otherwise when I still get calls after opting in I will be livid hahahahaha
