don't you think that will be like trying to opt out of spam?
I'm skeptical of adding my number to a list that they give directly to even more telemarketers.
And I surely am not going to chase down the telemarketers that do call me after I am on that list, it will just piss me off even more and probably drive me nuts.

That's the beauty of this. You don't have to chase anyone, the burden is on the spammers to make sure their lists are updated and the fines are very, very steep. Spammers will think twice about calling gazillion times a day only for me to ignore them. Idiots.Originally posted by cherrylula

there are so many fly-by-night telemarketing companies just like email spammers, so I wonder how hard it would be to bust one of them if they do abuse this list.
