Erm... correct me if im wrong, but a Dialer is a big hint...

"Dialer" meaning IE: dialup

I dont think theres anyway you could reset a users isp on a cable or dsl line...

If it is out there, shit show me, because that would rock.

Theo 06-27-2003 04:30 AM

I don't see how. Dialup is a standard line, so you just call a different ISP. ADSL is much more of a direct connection.

Plus, what ADSL user would be stupid enough to use a dialer?

i saw this one at YNOT yesterday
http://futuredialer.com/

Can broadband / LAN users use the dialer ?
Yes they can. The dialer includes a secondary call mechanism for customers on broadband, allowing them to pay to access content on their telephone bills (this is Phone2Enter used in our easy package).

NOCREDITCARD.COM

broadband and dial up for more than 200 countries.

When a dialer company says they offer broadband support, that just means that they present the broadband surfer with a phone number to call to gain access to a pin which they then input into the site to gain access. The charge is a flat fee billed to their telephone. Very, very few surfers ever actually use this method.

Er... Are there over 240 countries? When I was about 15, there were only 182 countries in the world. We haven't gained *that* many new ones, have we?

Look at http://www.deltino.com

Its British Telecoms Internet payment solution that has dialup and broadband options.. like reverse SMS etc.
