hung over?

I was wondering if anyone had any actual remedies for hang overs besides stupid shit. Supposedly drinking a lot of water before going to sleep keeps you from dehydrating and is supposed to work well.

I heard eating bread or drinking milk helps before you go to bed aswell, but I duno. Or bread is supposed to settle the stomach, which when I witnessed didn't really keep the guy from throwing up :).
