Come On People... Do this the right way...

With all of the big legit webmasters here... at least ONE of you has/knows a lawyer.

So let's do this the right way... simply ask your lawyer to answer this question...

"If a sponsor closes my account, keeps my money and refuses to offer any reason why it was closed other than - You were cheating - would that be legal?"

...and whatever the answer is... post it here and if anyone says anything else... give them the link to this thread.

I like drama too... but Run and KimmyK are both good people and this has gone on too long.

1 is right

1 is wrong

Who can ask their lawyer? Multiple lawyer post will most likely get them MUCH more business as I will need a lawyer when my program opens in October. I'm sure I'm not the only one looking for good solid legal help from time to time.

~Ray

P.S. please don't just post a link to xxxlaw.net , just have one of them come in here, register a name and email Lensman... so Lensman can back up the fact that he/she IS a lawyer and not a necro imp.

I'm not positive but usually in the terms that you agree to they put in all kinds of bullshit that basically allows them to terminate you anytime they want for any reason they want and not have to explain it to you. It's not like a job working for someone, it's as if you are doing contract work and that's your contract. It also generally says that they may change the terms at any time to anything they feel. So best of luck.

It's a decent read if you'll ever need an internet business lawyer. I would like to know where to go and who to talk to if I ever had an online legal problem.

I'm sure you are right. I'm not on either side. They are both legit.

A lawyer would add some drama though... don't you agree... :Graucho

Hey, Digi...how's it goin'?

Do you have a problem with the part of the usual terms of service that allows a program to terminate without proof of cause?
