Google pisses me off. I own a series of escort classifeds site which I lightly promoted using Google AdWords. Eros-Guide and Cityvibe also do this. I submited for the keyword 'escorts' and I was disallowed while my competition was allowed. Google said my ad and keywords did not reflect the adult nayure of my sites. Hell, massage and escorting is techinically legal and licensed across this ntire country. Why am I being penalized? I bet you if I got a premium sponsorship I wouldn't have this problem.

Maybe they didn't like your ad text. Google can be picky sometimes. Just try re-submitting with some different ad text.

I don't think they would give me the keyword "girls gone wild" apperantly it isn't adult, although the 2 advertisers on it right now are adult sites, plus I atleast gave a 18+ warning even.

It is also crap if I pick a new keyword I have to wait a few days for it to be accepted now.

Girls gone wild is trademarked and Google knows it, they won't let you have it. I was the first one to have my chops busted by the company that owns the trademark, Google got a C&D letter from the owners of the term, my rep contacted me about it, and we decided to just drop the word - of course.

When you find competitors getting ads for words you are not getting by with, email your adwords editor about it, they're quite helpful. Often it is because the adgroup was never reviewed.

You're right about Premium, it is much more "lax", BUT if you don't already have an account with Premium, you can't buy into it now, the Premium program will end as of the end of this year, adwords will now encompass both the 2 top ad spots and the side bar as we know it. None of the details are available, but everyone will have a shot at the top spots, it will be PPC, not CPM.

They turned me down once for the terms "nude teens" and "naked teens" and said they didn't reflect the adult nature of my site. WTF? Since when are people looking for naked teens not looking for nudity??? Those Google people are crazy.

Tootie, type in nude teens and/or naked teens, there are tons of sites there, including one of mine which has been there forever. You should ask the editor to reconsider - hoping they won't decide to shut it off for everyone...

BTW I promote several of your sites with those words, so you're still getting a tiny piece of the action :)
