EEKS, just saw on the Dutch news you guys in USA have some strange weather now,

some fires caused by the dry periods, other parts tornado's, and other parts so rainy, that rivers went, uhm don't know how to say it, well to much water in the river and it went over it:) Also some alligators went over it..., we only have some mosquitoes here :) That is enough for me

Seeing reptiles is a daily occurence in South Florida! I'm to the point that I'm immune to it when someone points one out. They hang out in the dumbest places.

Ice 06-25-2003 02:32 PM

mental note....don't move to Flordia

BlueDesignStudios 06-25-2003 02:32 PM

Just remember that if one runs at you, run away from it in a zig-zag pattern because they can only run in straight lines. :thumbsup A "must know" fact for all Floridians.

O.K. true story..

When I lived in florida, I had an ectronic boat lift installed on my back dock, and seawall.

They had to put big wood piling in forthe supports.

There were three divers in the water doing the work.
One guy on the shore holding a little puppy.

I said to him, that is a cute dog, did you just get it .

He replied, yeah I need at least one new puppy a week.

Perplexed at what he was saying, I asked him why?

He said , "well if a gator swims up too close to my men, then I trow the puppy in for the gator to go after so my guys can get out of the water"

Also for those that do not know...

Their are also coral snakes, water moccasins (cottonmouts), and copperheads, in florida too..

Not to mention the fricken fire ants, and spiders,

Now they even got the west nile carrying combat wing of mosquitos their...

What ever you do , be sure not to go to the inland parts of florida, you will hate it!!!

Matt M 06-25-2003 02:48 PM

Holy Shit !!!!!! that is crazy!!!

pornguy 06-25-2003 03:01 PM

AAHHHH come on it's not that bad...

We put the largest of the gators in the zoo, he is 26 feet long and weighs 3000 lbs... No kidding. He is in bush gardens. As for the bugs, well that part is kinda true in the wooded or swampy areas. I think they even have a landing strip for them..

Ok back to you guys and internext. The only thing you have to worry about while in FL, for that is can you carry enough condoms.

There are no bugs on the beach, and the only thing that bites there are the women and the men if you are into that.

JOKER 06-25-2003 03:04 PM

Fuck,the Women and Men there bite,TOO??? :1orglaugh

I like em more to suck and so :Graucho

i was six years old, living in tallahassee sitting in my front yard playing with the neighbors dog. the dog starts freaking out and i look down and I was completely covered from hips to toe in fire ants. i had been sitting on one of the many ant hills in our yard.

stupid me... i freaked out and ran straight into the house. amazingly enough i only suffered a few bites but goddamn do they fucking hurt & itch.

outside of Hawaii, florida 's beaches are the best in the country...I have to agree, and the people are hot! weather is good... BUT I repeat...STAY THE FUCK OUT OF THE INLAND PARTS.
