Good alternative Hotels for upcoming Internext?
 

Always looking for good deals, can anyone recommend a good hotel that is close to the Westin with Highspeed internet access?

I thought about trying to find a less expensive room, but at the last minute said to hell with it and reserved a room at the Westin. :)

The westin looks great, and I will probably get a room there anyway, but it's approx $200usd per night and if something is 1/2 that price a block away with the same features, myself as well as other people might consider it a good alternative.

Especially since I am coming from Canada, the hotel would cost over $1000 canadian for 4 nights. Staying a block away could save an easy 1/2 a grand.

You will not find anything close to the westin close by... Everything around that is 2 stars at best...

You have to mention Internext or they will tell you that.

I reserved my room not more than 30 minutes ago and they had plenty left.

You won't regret it. The westin is a pretty sweet hotel :)

Theres a few SRO hotels in Ft. Lauderdale you should check out.

There's like nothing and i mean nothing within like a 10 mile radius.

only like one pizza joint which is very good, down the block


But to make your internext pleasurable i advise you stay at the westin, since most of the events will be held at the hotel it is very convient. especially when you are tired and want to relax without taking a drive back to your hotel room

Well, if I get a third roommmate, im staying at the westin.

If not, I'll be there for two nights, and spend the other nights at a cheaper hotel about 3 miles away. Im still working out the finances.
