How much should I sell for?
 

I recently registered andrewslimo.com for a limo company I was gonna start soon. I got a call this morning from someone who's offering to buy it. What do you think would be a fair price to ask for?

The answer should be based on what either of you think you can make off of the domain for a year. No idea how it should be based on it, but all too often people overlook that when evaluating a domain.

Well I don't plan to make any money off the website per se. It's going to basically be an online brochure that potential customers can visit for more info, pictures etc.

I sold a domain to a web design company here in Scottsdale for 2500.00 about 3 years ago... it can be done... Depends on what it is worth to them.

I just e-mailed the guy back and told him it's not for sale.

You can brand any domain to mean anything.

Sure, he'd have said fu, and you'd be in the same position as you are now... but what if he really really wanted it, theres that chance you'd be $20k up, and can still brand another domain to your company.
