My sites do extremely well in double opt-in. I have three people who use my sites for double opt-in lists and they all say my sites convert the best of any they've tried.

But here's the thing... they are in the ARS program and ARS has new rules concerning these lists.

First of all, the list MUST be exclusive to you. It has to be a list that YOU collected, or you must have an official paper document that says that you bought 100% exclusive rights to the list and that you will be the only one using it.

Secondly, the list must record the IP address along with the date and time of signup.

Lastly, you must make sure that you have a working opt-out link in every mail.

Just about any program allows it if forewarned and preferably a link given to the system so they can check it really is double opt-in. Sadly you could treble opt-in a list and still get assholes complain so you always need to pre-warn the sponsor.
