What is the best camera for under $3,000.00 this is just for the camera by itself. Add on's NOT included.

Xl-1 (PAL)
VX2000
GL-2

I prefer the vx2000 if only it did not use the sony memory sticks there so expensive compared to CF but then again who needs a ton of memory in the stick when your shooting DV...

You can often find some killer package deals on ebay..
Camera, chargers, stand, case, cleaning kits, lenses, batteries, extented warrenties..

Thats how i bought my G3....Got a KILLER package...
