acpay: visa problems?

i noticed all my surfers signing up with visa is going to a "pending credits" box and i am not having rebills from visa, only mastercard users, and it is sucking ass.

WTF???

did you try http://www.aclounge.com ?

Alvaro 06-23-2003 05:50 AM

sure i did

theres a topic about pending credits there but i never got a statement saying they are not able to process visa

All I know is that ACPay will soon be requiring the $750 Visa reg fee just like all the other processors, so this might be why. Maybe a migration period?

I went to the AC lounge and read one guys post . He was crying since the visa is pending his free three day trial was really free now because it wasnt rebilled lol. There is justice in the world

It is pretty gay though, say you had 20 trials suppose to rebill today and all of a sudden, nothing happens, the users continue to get more access for free basically without ever being rebilled, I hope they get this straigtened out.

You mean he actually gets the three free days like he is supposed to and thats a bad thing ? I had signed up for a three day trial for $6.95 and I went to cancel after I joined so it wouldnt reccur and I had already been billed the 39.95.

No, I have people that signed up for 3 day trial access on the 17th and it is now the 23rd, they never cancelled so they should be getting rebilled, but nothing is happening, this is the point I am making as well as Alvaro.

I hope that acpay doesn't go the way of another processor I used to be with - their bank clamped down on them and they had to hurriedly drop Visa 'temporarily' ... after a month of stuffing around they informed us that they could no longer process Visa for non USA/EU companies. The only option for myself was to create an offshore company, so I ended up cancelling all of the Visa rebills and lost the money. Some of my customers got nearly 2 months worth of uncharged access.

(then to top that, I discovered that checks were broken and hadn't been rebilled for 2 months. At least they paid me compensation for that.)

Anyway, I wouldn't be at all surprised if similar problems occur in the future with third party processors that are not technically not Visa compliant... which isn't so great for someone like myself who lives outside of the USA and EU. :(

hey tony, do you think we want to get money from unauthorized rebills? pay attention to the subject dude

It didn't rebill or cancel him though. There is something very funny up and it's a little unnerving that there has been no response to that thread from AC Pay for 2 days now.

Rebills appear to be running now so hopefully they'll be back in line tonight.
