US hopes raised of Saddam hit
 

Officials in the United States have expressed hope that a strike on a convoy in Iraq may have killed former President Saddam Hussein or his sons.

Ultimately, if not already, he WILL be killed or apprehended. He simply can't successfully evade capture with the amount of people and resources after him now, especially with the worldwide CIA net in place, and the financial bounty that is on his head.
