need help with printer only printing top half of letters
 

I havnt printed anything in a while, maybe since I upgraded to my pentium 1.5 from the old 500mhz. Now my printer only prints the top half of each line so everything is unreadable.
Its an hp500c that has always worked great. Has anyone else ran into a problem like this? I re-installed the driver and deleted an reinstalled the printer with no luck.

are you using win xp drivers? (or whatever os your running)
when you install stuff, reboot

This has been going on for months. I just havent printed anything in that amount of time. Now I need to.
It was working under win2k before. I am pretty sure it stopped working around the processor upgrade when I put a new board, ram, chip, and harddrive in. Its using the win2k drivers as hp says they are the only ones available, and most up to date.

ink cartridge was bad. That fixed it.

Add a few more 'r"'s to the middle of your handle
