Just curious - maybe I suck - I'm new, that much I'll admit, but for the last week I have submitted a gallery a day for each website Triple X Cash has to offer and I have recieved a total ratio of 1 to 1000 - and that one signup was for $3.98!!

I know 1 : 2 - 3 hundred is what I'm after, so this is obviously BAD.

Any words of advice from the GFY clan would be much appreciated!!! This gallery was made simple on PURPOSE - don't trip on my skills, cuz graphic wise I KILL... I contacted Triple X after finally recieving a reply from Evil Chris through GFY and after breaking it down to him ala ICQ, I have not heard a word since!!!

I ain't stopping till I figure this shit out - I know the industry sucks compared to pre 2000 (If I was only around from '96!!!) but I'm just looking to make $500/week - how fuckin hard is that?!?!?!?! One more ? - Getting about 100 click-thrus to X's sites with this design to about 10,000 uniques from the TGPs - that sucks!!! What do I need to do?!?!?!

Wow.. I'm using my prescious 5999th post for this. I really wanted to something bigger, but son I see you need help. And so... here I am.


Newbies take note, this goes out to all of you.


Lesson #1. That gallery has got to go. If it doesn't sell, dump it. That's just straight trial and error.

Lesson #2. What is your source of traffic? Did you only send 1000 hits to the gallery and expect a sale? Ratios are averages, they're not guides.

Lesson #3. Don't worry about other people. If Juicylinks, or Boneprone comes in here bragging about 1:200 (or better) on TGP it's because these guys are at the top of their game. They know every little trick in the book. They know exactly how and where to put a link to increase sales. Everyone starts somewhere. You WILL do better. Just hang in there.

Lesson #4. Design: I don't know what it is about your gallery, but it just doesn't flow. Maybe it's because the black table BG doesn't run all the way down the page it stops after every set of thumbs, and so do my eyes. My eyes stop. It's like slowly sliding down stairs. Clunk, pause, Clunk, pause, Cluck, pause.

Also, the text doesn't really flow because you have a block of text, then some images, then you seem to reference the first block of text. Surfers don't wanna remember shit, and in a gallery they don't wanna read shit. Your goal is to get them to US as FAST AS YOU CAN. Let us sell 'em.

More on gallery design: Now this doesn't hold true for every gallery, but try this. Try choosing a similar color scheme as our tour. It helps to transition the surfer. Too much color change will send some surfers into a epileptic fit. You don't want to have a bad ass gallery that's all moody and sexy, with silky colors, and beautiful girls and then send the surfer to the Ringling Brothers circus page. You'd kill his wood faster than his ol' lady can.

Send them to us ASAP and as SMOOTHLY as possible.

I'm a believer in the "less is more" in gallery design so take what I've given you and make me proud. Rectal Rooter is a very good site, and it converts well with the RIGHT TRAFFIC.

And.. dump the ENTER HERE, instead go for a "View more movies" or Click here for more anal pounding movies".
"Enter Here" is like the 468x60 banner of the late 90's

Lesson #5. Traffic: Don't rely entirly on TGP traffic. We have enough content for you to crank out many free sites. Build up free sites, and build up your own TGP's, and get them into link lists, and search engines. Then start linking your free sites together. Best place to start, is the same sites you used to surf while looking for porn. LOL

Lesson #6. In closing. Every surfer is a potential sale! Remember the whole goal is to SELL!! Adult webmasters are salesmen (and women)... Ok, you area "salesPERSON", so learn your trade. Read as many articles as you can, they are there to help you. Work smarter, not harder.

Redshoe, you give some good advice. I've been doing the stuff you're talking about -- and I'm seeing my click-throughs get better and better. I may not have big sales numbers yet, but just learning how to make the surfer click through to the sponsor is an art...gimme a holler if you need somebody to write stories for any of your sites, 'cause that's what's rockin for me right now, I've done some story galleries that Shemp posted...and, um, I noticed some misspellings on the *** page. :) Get yo'self a proofreader, baby!

Always ask yourself QUESTION #1 when things don't work.

What am I trying to sell?

What are you selling on that gallery? Rectal Rooters? Think about that for a sec.

How many guys out there want to pull out a credit card to subscribe for rectal rooter pictures?

Do you see my point. I'm not knocking rectal rooter or the niche. There is a market. I'm just pointing out here always take what you're trying to sell and look in the mirror with it. That is a tightly focused niche with very limited potential subscribers in relation to other more popular niches like Amateurs, Blowjobs, Big Tits, etc.

Sell what has the most potential customers. That'll throw the odds in your favor for greater conversions.

Always think like you're selling on a table at a flea market / swap meet because that is what the Net is like. What would sell more Levi's jeans or ballerina tights at your booth? Selling is a very simple process. You're looking to market what people want to buy. So if you're just starting out you can't afford to sell specialty items yet. Bank some money selling jeans first. Everyone wears them and wants them. You can pitch the ballerina tights down the road.
