all my domains are down on gighost, have been for the last 2 hours.. i have no idea when they'll be back up.

can you ssh into it?

i can ssh/telnet into it, dont have permission to reboot it though.

if you can ssh into it, yes you can reboot it

apachectl start

i get this message

I am getting 500 errors from YOUR apache. Means the site is reachable, but apache is spitting out a 500 error code. Something is pooched on your server (in apache), which is live and reachable.

Are you root when you try to restart apache?

If so, there is something wrong in your httpd.conf file.

If not, log on as root, and type apachectl graceful

Your apache is already running, no need to start it.

i don't have root on the server. :(
