Dumb ass people

Yesterday in chicago a lady talking on her cell phone fell onto the tracks at the train station and was killed by a train in seconds that was comming by.

Nothing like me walking back to the parking garage looking at blood and guts all over the street blow.

3 lines were shut down thru most of rush hour because of it :(

wonder who she was talking to

Someone who is probably having a bad day today.

I would feel bad if the person i was talking to fell onto train tracks and got killed while talking to me (

Chris 06-20-2003 01:28 PM

that would be crazy

Bet she doesn't have the guts to do that again

...sorry...

Was she walking straight towards the tracks or what?

I have an even stupider story....where my hubby works they have a train that travels about 5 to 15 miles an hour loading and unloading around the plant..(its a papermill)..well one of his coworkers got hit by this slow ass loud ass, vibrating a mile away train... no one will say how the fuck she managed to get hit when you can feel the vibration and hear that bitch a long ways away...

she was drug under the train about 40 feet.. it jammed her femur bone through her the backside of her hip...and this dumbfuck lived...if she would have been drug face down, she would have died...

How the fuck someone gets hit by a train that slow and loud is besides me.. my guess is she was committing suicide or was going for that disability pension...this plant should win some darwin awards for sure.. there have been 5 people killed there over the past few years just for their stupidity..

Heard it was on an angle she probably missjudged where she was and thought she was farther away from the tracks then she was.

Better that than to have her on the phone in the car where she could have killed more than herself. Fuck her... she got what she deserved. Fuck Cell phones... I leave mine off unless an emergency arises... I really don't want to be bothered. What can be so fucking important that you need to talk to someone in the grocery store, train station, in the car... I mean common people...

At least pull over where you are not distracted from the other idiots on the raod... or go somewhere where other people do not have to hear your conversation...

I love to cause as much noise as possible when I see someone in their car on their phone... Horn.. music... whatever.... Don't care... I make it hard to hear the person they are talking to.

I thought I said something wrong and she'd hung up on me.

StuartD 06-20-2003 01:49 PM

the problem with these stupid mistakes is that you don't get a chance to learn to be more careful.

best to figure out that little bit of wisdom before hand.

Yea, emergencies are one thing... but I hear nothing but gossip and nonsense from some of these people that are suppose to be watching the road, or getting out their money to pay for their purchase.... Big difference.

This post is full of hearsay and assumptions. Question your news people and read for yourself.

The woman was 77 years old and there WAS NO CELL PHONE FOUND!

And if you live in Chicago you'll know that most of the L train platforms are substandard and it's very easy to fall from one, especially when you're 77.
