Apache - KeepAlive on or off?
 

I feel more fast webpage loading when I set to Off.

I set it to off on busy servers cos if you keep it on it keeps the connection open after the request is done to see if anymore requests come in I think and so the connection is not fre to server a new request

The only situation where I've found it better to keep it "on" are
applications that are serving data based on previous input.
Things like long questionaires, interactive games, etc., anything
where the next form or action is determined by previous input.

For most applications, "off" will give much better general
performance.

The savings of system resources outweighs the savings of eliminating reconnects.
