I need a Programmer ( or a quote ) fast!!
 

I need a programmer to do a booking/payment system to one of my customers.

Its a Motorcycle rental bussiness:
This is the orderflow:

1 - The customer surfs the webpage, and finds the package he wants-

2 - The surfer clicks the "book and order" link, that takes him to the booking overview. He should be able to se how many bikes are avalible and when they are.

3 - My customer gets the order notification on Email, and logs into the system where he approves the Order/booking.

4 - My customer sends the surfer a confirmation and a link to the payment system, where he by typing in the e-mail adress and order number, get access to the Payment form.


YOU need to do the basic design and ALL the programming of:
- Payment system
- Booking system
- Order tracking
- CC proccesing form

I dont know how your programmer works. But no programmer with a bit of sence can do this for $100. Is at least 10 hours of work. Without debugging and testing.

These are fairly common and most programmers probably already have something that could make made to work.

Exactly my words. NO programmer can do this in less than 10 hours, in fact it´s more like 15-20 hours. You have to the design as well and even if you have made something like this before you still have edit you code to fit the database (or vice versa) and this doesn´t look like an "off-the-rack" job. There will always be some new code to write for something like this.
We´re talking 15-20 hours or $1000-1500 for this.

I wont even open up my programming tools for 50-100$...

15-20 hour estimatation the questions to ask your self right now is do you want unix or windows based...

Post your job there and you will get some quotes in a hurry with none of the arrogance you'd normally expect from a programmer like myself.

You bet it is. The only programmers that aren't arrogant are the ones that don't need the work. :winkwink:

$50-$100 and you have not even asked him the most rudimentary questions, such as which payment gateway or processor, what languages he prefers, what database, if you will be required to integrate with their database system which at this point has no fields for tracking spit.

Go back to ebay.

I gotta go with this too. I'm a programmer and $100 is only $10/hr. I dont know many programmers can finish this that fast, then debug & test it. You must have one hellva programmer! Being a programmer myself, i would probably qoute $500-$800, lowest.
