Stereotyping in porn is there because peoples fantasies tend to revolve around stereotypes. Who buys the most black man fucks white woman interracial porn? What do they want? That's their stereotypes you're watching.

While I don't doubt there are racists in the porn business just as everywhere else, I don't think much porn is made with racist intentions - people that put personal convictions before making money won't be particularly successful.

But just for that reason, as long as the general public gets off on various racial stereotypes, porn will use racial stereotypes.

Personally I have a thing about interracial porn with submissive black or asian women being dominated and humiliated by white men. Just as I love living it out with my black fiance. It's a turn on for both of us in bed, but outside of bed we always treat eachothers as equals.

We both enjoy the racial stereotyping because it matches our fantasies, but we'd both hate it if it wasn't restricted to a product where the objective isn't to convey a racist message. Many of the stereotypes we'd enjoy in porn would be disgusting in a political speech, for instance.
