shitty paysites
 

Some paysites today are just shitty. I joined a site herfirstdick.com i believe. joined it to test it out, see how 30 minute trials worked etc. well, the whole fucking 30 minutes.. the password would let me view the members area.. but would NOT let me view any pics or videos. fuck no im not rebilling to monthly if i cant even view the damn pics while its free. I went to the CC processors help page for non-working passwords, put in my member number and they "refreshed" the password or something. same damn thing. this is my rant for the night.

And people wonder why sigups are falling through the floor. When the surfer can get better quality at a tgp why sign up at another pay site again?

exactly. if i was a surfer, i'd never join a paysite again. luckily i was using a debit card with like $3 on it so those fuckers cant take my money. although doing a chargeback would seem nice and appropriate since it was not as described (i got access to 0 pics and movies)

shitty members areas are no good.

other paysite owners have to remember at the end of the day it's all about the consumer. not just about getting that initial sale.

you want to cater to your customer. quality content and good navigation :thumbsup

NOTE: the members area content wise did not look half bad from what i could see.. they look like they have a lot of content.. i just couldnt fucking access any of it besides the damn page full of thumbnails for the movies.. no page beyond the main members area page.

Her First Dick is from Epic Cash. Each site, last I knew, was also connected to the Ultra MPEGs backend, which is pretty big. There should be a fair amount of content inside the members area, not sure how he has the free trial section set up now.

i think thats why shity paysites have webmasters push revshare hoping that they can market the fact that its RECURRING FOREVER.

There's only so many paying surfers to go around and each time one gets fucked over on shady crossbilling or a bs members area where everything is crap or an upsell webmasters lose one more surfer that can be sold.

When somebody unraps a playboy or huster from its cover are they given some shitty pics and a upsell pitch for the "good stuff"?? Fuck No. Because Playboy wants to sell the magazine again next month.

In this day and age, if you put up what we call a 'thin site', the chargebacks will be dramatic. You need to be able to justify the price the consumer pays by having enough quality content.

CE's paysites are chock full of content - every site is very deep!!

That's why the folks in our partnership program are very happy.

NOTE: I'm not saying it didnt have ENOUGH content, im saying it didnt let me look at the damn content. But what you guys are saying is right :)

maybe i'm way off on this one, but as far as i know, most sites that offer 30 minute trials set you up with a skeleton members area. they give you a taste of the site, but not all the content.

they don't want someone signing up for 30 mins, leeching a shit load of content and cancelling.

thats not what happened... i couldnt view a single movie or pic. not one. if that doesnt convince a surfer to cancel i dont know what does.

you couldn't view pics/vids as in they 404'ed? or they just weren't linked?

i was going to check the Terms and Conditions, but it seems to 404.

no, the password only worked for the main members page.. none of the pics/videos or other HTML pages were accessible.. it kept asking for a password.. didnt work at all. but it worked to get to the main page... typed it in 3 times, got unauthorized access page. about 10 times.
