how big of a LOAD?

8.0 to 12.0 for a 2 hour period while checking.
THis event was orginally scheduled to happen 3 times a day.
I had to limit it to once for obvious reasons.

But when not checking im around and under 2.0

However my host tech was able to configure some priority settings and we were able to drop it down to 6.0 or so.

Nevertheless i still think this is pretty uniqe of a problem for me.

Of the several people Ive talked to thus far it seems to not be an issue.

I can live with 6.0 loads, its way better than 12.0 but no way I can do this 3 times a day for 2 hours.

Ive adjusted the settings to do it just once a day. But the loads when they were so high really impacted my traffic input and output. Traffic was down 20% becasue of this load.

I think the checking syetem is trying to check too much too fast.

How does brownie do it?

Im having the system check 100 gallereis per catagorie.
Maybe i need to do less?
