how do you get rid of a bamboo tree?
 

what the fuck, i took this thing out last year and now it has come back worse than ever.

anyone have a sure fire way to remove these crazy weeds?

bamboo is a grass... not a tree.

the roots look like something out of a science fiction film.

they are coming up through concrete.

had to remove a whole fucking fenceline of that vile weed when i was growing up.

you have to get every fucking single bit of root up or it comes back and your pops gives you a whoopin for not doin it right the 1st time

I had some and I used round up. Kills everything though so caution.

I heard Aluminium, soap and diesel mixed up works wonders. Especially if you set it on fire.

Good luck, that is one of the most resiliant plants on earth. They grow were almost nothing can. My suggestion would be dig up everything and make sure you get every piece of root and spray some poison. Ofcoures you wont be able to plant anything there for the next year or two.:glugglug

Drown it in Roundup, then after a couple of weeks dig of as much of it as posible. The roots are a mofo, so try to get it all.
