iPod for PC and how to use
 

Hi is there an iPod equivalent for a PC? I know you can use the iPod itself on a PC but I wondered if there's something like it that's specifically for PC.

Anyone use an iPod and can tell me how big a pain it is to rip all those songs to get them into the handheld?

what are you talking about? there is a PC specific version of the ipod and putting songs on it is as easy as can be. as a matter of fact right now the apple online store has a refurbished 20 gig windows model marked down to $299.

I just got my iPod a few days ago. I fucking HATE the fact that you have to transfer songs to it via MusicMatch Jukebox. What a piece of dumpshit software that is. The iPod is extremely cool, small, fast, etc. But fuckin fuck the MusicMatch. Pretty much reason enough to go with Archos (my previous mp3 juke), where you just drag some files over right in Windows and youre done. Just my :2 cents:

Dont use gay software. I had the same problem when I got mine but a friend told me about : http://www.ephpod.com/ a million times better and easier to use to keep your tracks updated, info synched. Its quicker, nicer, prettier, fuck just download it and see for yourself. If you have a windows Ipod and arent use ephpod then I feel sorry for you.

if you have a PC- download ephpod(what liquidmoe posted-http://www.ephpod.com/) and get yourself a firewire card(MUCH faster than usb, definitley worth it)
