He was over here begging for press last week. All we could do was look at him and wonder why he was so pretty and dolled up when he's supposed to be some kind of athelete. We also want to know why they think we are supposed to care about his wife.
We are really still trying to figure out why you guys like that sport so much. At least play it like the Aussies do and make it interesting!


That said, I have been in the UK enough to know why they care about him and I think MU are absolute idiots for letting him go. Whether or not he's the best player doesn't matter. The fact that he is a major draw and makes tons of money for the team and the sport does. Now he's in Spain. He doesn't even speak the friggin language!

Soccer requires a lot of talent, it's not just kicking the ball. It's not a contact sport, hence it sucks?
It's also the most popular sport in the world, so I guess "we're" not the only ones liking it. :)
