Star Wars - I don't get it
 

Okay, I am sure that once again I am in the minority, but I have never seen any of the Star Wars series. Anyway, I am flipping thru the channels and Star Wars II - the attack is on, and I guess it is an hour into the movie, and I have been watching for about 5 minutes, but I don't get it.

Do I move on, or is this thing going to become worth watching soon? So far I have seen a guy and chick float food at each other, and a hobbit looking creature.

Does it get better, or has it peaked?

the yoda fight at the end is the best.

long story short, luke and leia are the son and daughter of annaken and whatever her name is. annaken left his jedi training to marry and then has luke & leia. afterwards he becomes darth (how, i couldnt tell you). the first 3 are the best. these newer ones are for the digital era and pretty much suck.

now pay up for my movie review :)

up to the new episodes or you will never get it.

Star Wars is simple, it's like the old tv show " Lost In Space ". It's about the redemption of an man turned evil by power of love and forgiveness.

Star Wars has more special effects that's all.

It still boggles my mind that there are people that have not seen the original Star Wars movies. I can't help but see one of them at least once a week when flipping through the channels and I don't watch much TV.

Original series make sense when it's released way back 80's. But today they feel empty even to me (old fan).
