im so proud of myself ... never did that before and i think it came out nice! What do you think?

Doesnt seem like much a big deal, but ive never stripped background off an image and used it like that.

You need to reduce the space either side of your thumbs. On 1024x768 you can only see the logo and thumbs. Surfers click on one of your blind thumbs and get taken off somewhere, without seeing your text links first.

I would reduce the (physical) size of the logo too, it takes up a fair bit of real estate...
