who would win in a fight a killer whale or a great white shark?
if tehy were like the same size and shit?
|
Killer whales? Is that a joke? Just because they have a dangerous sounding name doesn't mean shit.
|
A killerwhale would win easily...Its larger, stronger, faster, and most importantly...smarter.
|
I believe killer whale. I thought I saw a show where that was the only animal sharks were afraid of.
|
There are cases in which bottle nose dolphins have killed white sharks...

killer whales are not to be fucked with...

A killer whale would wax a great white's ass with one fin tied behind it's back.
predatory whales are no-friggin-joke. Sperm whales alone fight giant squid to eat. Any animal bad enough to attack, fight, win and eat a giant motherfucking squid ( these squid are fucking enormous and gettin' bigger every year... I know cause I financed research and you couldn't pay me to go into the ocean after what we found out ) is the kind of animal that gets my respect. Heck, dolphins kick shark's asses on a regular basis. Dolphins have helped many a sailor against shark attacks. |

hmm a 20 foot killer whale taking out a 10 foot shark in that video lol. Take a shark the size of jaws and put it up against a killer whale and the shark will win. :winkwink:
|
A killer whale fart can kill a white shark with only one fart. I saw that in a national geographic documentary. Poor shark.

Ever seen the footage (not sure what show it was on) of the killer whales playing catch with seals? They were actually flipping them back and forth through the air like a ball before they ate them. Funny shit.
There were great white sharks in the water at that same island feeding on the seals and they sure seemed to be leaving the killer whales alone. It was a cool show. They did some tests pulling surfboards through the water with an underwater camera on it. The sharks literally bit some in half. |

C. Methods of collecting food. 1. Much like packs of wolves or prides of lions, killer whales often hunt cooperatively in pods for food. They work together to encircle and herd prey into a small area before attacking. When hunting a large whale, a pod of killer whales may attack from several angles. http://www.seaworld.org/infobooks/Ki...le/dietkw.html |

Largest great white every caught was 21 feet. Killer Whales can be up to 30ish feet.
They've also been know to kill Blue Whales, the biggest animal on the planet. I remember seeing that Show of the killer whale's using the seals as toys. |
The biggest difference between the two (besides the obvious size difference) is that sharks are fucking cowards and they're dumb... they lurk in murky water and only attack what they think is wounded... any confrontation usually is enough to scare them off...
but there's nothing coward about a pod of killer whales. They're fucking smart, and they fucking hunt shit down and toy with it before ripping it to fucking pieces. |
I am not on crack :) I think a great white the size of jaws can take a one 20 foot killer whale, or it would be a close fight. That video was a 20 foot killer whale taking out a little 10 foot shark. Not really a match for that whale.

If you fall out of a boat, in deep water, Id be more scared of a sperm whale then any shark.
They have been known to eat people during ww2 when their boats sank. Yea I could see an orca killing a white shark, but not if there had been more whites around... 1 on 1 Id say its anyones guess, whoever draws first blood. More then 1 white on an orca? pfft whites would win... |
a. Perhaps the smell of fresh sea lion blood drew the shark to the area, but once one of the killer whales sighted the great white it immediately charged the shark and contacted it under water. The killer whale pulled the 3 to 4 m (10-13 ft.) shark to the surface in its mouth and the killer whales consumed sections of the great white such as its enormous liver.

Im sure if you do a search for whites killing orcas youll find that too...
Which is better blue or red, apples and oranges... Your not in the ocean, many things happen everyday that would make the normal person look at it wierd. Never know, whites might eat 10 orcas everyday and orcas might eat 10 whites everyday. |

Sharks are not loners by a long shot...
I know for a fact as I used to live in Florida and it had some of the largest hammerhead populations in the world, remmeber when that kid got eaten and they showed an arial view of that beach in florida? They counted over 400 hammerhead sharks in a school... |

How long does it take for a killer whale to be full grown?
How long does it take for a killer whale to be full grown? A: About ten years. Male killer whales average 22 to 27 feet 96.7 to 8.2 m) and usually weigh between 8,000 and 12,000 pounds (3,628 to 5,442 kg). Females average 17 to 20 feet (5.2 to 6.1 m) and usually weigh between 3,000 and 8,000 pounds (1,362 to 3,628 kg). As a male killer whale grows to adulthood it gains weight, and its pectoral flippers, dorsal fin and tail flukes grow larger than those of females. Do killer whales kill and eat sharks? Sometimes, but they probably don't do it very often. Killer whales usually eat fish, and sometimes seals, sea lions or even whales or dolphins. You may be surprised to learn that even thought they are the top predator in the sea, ill, injured, or very young killer whales may be prey for some large species of shark http://www.seaworld.org/infobooks/ki...le/dietkw.html Happy..?? I thought they was much longer..you learn something ever day here on go fuck yourself.com :) |
Heh I take it youve never seen a hammerhead before eh...

but that doesn't mean they can take out an orca.... lol |
Unless your watching every shark and every orca in the ocean then you have no clue.
No one does... Point I was trying to make... |
|

But as a GENERAL rule.... a fucking hammerhead shark is no match for a killer whale. I concede.... some fatality ill orca floating helplessly on it's last breath somewhere is game for anything... happy? jesus.... next time we're getting nitpicky give me some warning. |
I like this thread..I think I going to the ocean..
