Roe Vs. Wade... overturned.
The woman once known as "Jane Roe" whose case led to the legalization of abortion in the United States 30 years ago filed a new court challenge on Tuesday in a bid to overturn the landmark Supreme Court decision. Norma McCorvey, who went by the name Jane Roe in the landmark Roe v. Wade ruling but later joined the anti-abortion movement, filed a motion in Dallas federal court claiming changes in the law and advances in medicine had rendered the court's original decision unjust.

uh, it wasn't overturned :2 cents:

no, the topic was for getting attention. But as you can see, school let out so all the "pic" posts are flooding GFY from type-in surfers looking for free pics.

Well gol damn it, if they'll let them teach Creationism as a 'science' (HAHAHAHA) in schools, they might as well push to get abortion outlawed again. We are working hard to cement our position as the dumbest, most backward-thinking nation on the planet. Regression, here we come!

wonder what the bible thumpers paid her to change her mind

Who cares -- they want dick anyway. Just don't tell 'em your name... then you won't have to pay child support...

quite frankly if the decision were overturned I think I would repat and move away, I'd be ashamed to be living in THE most backwards country in the fucking world. |

Ahh, I mistook it as well. By backwards I assumed you meant places like central Africa.
We'll call it regressive AND backwards and wash our hands of it. |
Damn the Bush admin is going to love that

I wonder if KimmyKim has asked herself it would have been okay with her if SHE had been aborted? Presumably, if her mother's pregnancy had been inconvenient or the result of a rape or incest or whatever, then it would be okay...right? |

Isotopes... |

Quite frankly my mother and I discussed all kinds of things, and my parents never dismissed the 'what if you hadn't had me' questions as a child. not the same as saying what if you had an abortion I recognize, but then again I have nothing to bitch about regarding the job my parents did with what they had to work with. Not at all. |

Republicans managed to whip themselves into a frenzy and ban a potentially lifesaving form of late-stage abortion recently, or 'partial birth' as they furtively called it. Only 1,000 or so were performed a year in cases of dire need. I'd rather have 1,000 live women with stretch marks than 1,000 deformed and retarded children (one of the many likely side effects of disrupted pregnancies).
There's my tangent, since so far every argument for banning abortion has been purely irrelevant and tangential. |

Or there is the act of removing ore from or mine by means of a stope, which is an excavation in the form of steps made by the mining of ore from steeply inclined or vertical veins. Are you thinking of isotopes? One of two or more atoms having the same atomic number but different mass numbers. |
I am SO against the idea of women being forced to carry children to term if the pregnancies are a result of rape, molestation, etc.
I'm not "Go Abortion", but I believe women have the right to choose for themselves....I don't think the government should be involved in this decision what so ever. ...and I also don't understand the radical "Right to Lifers" going around killing the Doctors and their patients. |
