any "Cleaner 5" wiz here?
 

I have a 30 avi clip, I need to have the first 5 second... but I also need to attach the last 5 second to it... to make a 10 sec wmv clip.

HOw can I attach 2 sections?

i though cleaner 5 was just for exporting to different formats not editing...

we use adobe premierre for that and cleaner 5 to export to .wmv

You cant do that with Cleaner.. it's only a transcoding program, which means it converts formats and apply's filters. To do an edit like that, use the free program "VirtualDub" www.virtualdub.org

Not the easiest program in the world, but it works and its free. Otherwise try Premiere (which can be a little more time consuming when having to compile your clip together), its a great video editing tool.

I would stay away from premiere or any other nle program for that kind of work. As they are decoding & re-encoding which causes unnecessary quality loss.

Go with the virtualdub as sugested.
