only one person in my city makes this stuff fresh every day.

it tastes awesome and apparently it has homeopathic qualities.

take Vernors ginger ale and magnify the ginger by 1000x. My mouth feels like it is on fire but it is refreshing. Like Gatorade with Red Hot in it.


The easy way:

Yield: 14 x 10oz bottles

1 Ginger root
1 Lemon, grated rind only
2 oz Cream of tartar
1 1/2 lb Sugar
1 ga Water; boiling
1 Envelope yeast


Grate and thoroughly mash the ginger root in a bowl. Place in a large pot and add all ingredients except the yeast. Stir until sugar and cream of tartar is dissolved. Allow mixture to cool, then add yeast which has been started ( dissolved) in a little lukewarm water. Cover tightly for 6 hours, then filter first through a tea strainer or similar, then through cloth. **Bottle and cap or cork tightly, sealed. Place in dark, cool (60 degree) place for two weeks. Chill fully before opening to drink.

Dude, Oranjeboom is one of the worst Dutch beers ever made. I actually know of a bar that almost went bankrupt simply because they put Oranjeboom on tap (they made a comeback when they changed it to Grolsch though).

ive never given a fuck what others drink.

had a bunch of friends over the past few nights, they bring over the weirdest shit to drink. they brought some of this amongst the other poor man beer.

trust me, my friends are all broke, no doubt its cheap and shitty, but it goes down good with me. I actually like it.

Well, it's not cheap, but it is shitty. You know how some wines give a headache after you drink them? Oranjeboom has proven that the same goes for some beers.
Ofcourse, there's no arguing about taste... however, Oranjeboom is comparable to the wine that comes in a carton instead of a bottle :glugglug
