Is there a difference between Shemales and Transsexuals? I mean who are they? Men with tits or women with dicks? Basically, who is who? :)

A she-male (in a nutshell) is female except for the genital area. In other words, a male trying to look like a female and going so far as to get boobs either through hormones or implants or both). He's probably getting hormones anyway to minimize male characteristics like body hair.

A transsexual is in some stage of being transformed from a male into a female (or much more rarely, the other way around).

Both are GAY MEN who get breast implants and where make up and womens clothes........

I have never heard a transgendered person call themselves a she-male. Best I have ever been able to figure it is a porn term.

Basic run down of terms - as I understand them

Transgender
Anyone who does not fit into the traditional male-female gender patterns of society.


Cross-dresser
Someone who wears the clothes as the opposite sex. It is done for a number of different reasons, and you should never assume that a cross-dresser is gay, bisexual or lesbian - many are heterosexual. Cross-dressers often have no desire to change their physical sex.

Transvestism
A form of cross-dressing, with the desire to adopt the clothes, appearance and behaviour associated with the opposite sex

Transsexualism
This is a strong feeling of gender dysphoria, where the person may say they are 'trapped in the body of the wrong sex'. A small proportion of transsexuals have sex reassignment surgery (a 'sex change' operation).

There is also one last group I would add which are

Drag Queens.

This is actually slightly different than Transvestism and Cross-dressing because it is not done with the intent to mimic the dress of a women, or because of gender dysphoria. It is an over exageration, often (but not exclusivly) done by gay males who do it for fun or strictly work. The satisfaction is in the overexageration and performance, not the female clothes.

Actually i think they like women so much that they want to become one. This is about the trannies.
About the shemales they are already halfwomen so they probably like women too. Anyway, i think all of them like women. LOL, i don't know, why don't you find some and ask them.

As I understand, there are:

1. men who grow boobs (use implants) but still have dicks
2. men who grow boobs (use implants) and cut off dicks
3. women who attach dicks and have boobs
4. something else

yes, sorry to have missed them out. For some reason I have always mentally grouped them as actors. Some may indeed fit in the other transgender groups but some might just doing their jobs.

and as far as 'are they gay' goes...I don't wish to get too complex but there is a difference between gender and sexuality. It is a difficult sepersation for most to make but they are seperate things.
